Biscuits and Gravy

2 lb fresh breakfast sausage

1/3 c. flour

3 - 4 c milk

6-7 dashes tabasco sauce

2 t. Worcestershire sauce

1 T maple syrup


This is Janet's recipe that has evolved into breakfast greatness! There's not a lot of measuring, so just follow the force. Brown breakfast sausage in large skillet over medium heat. Push sausage to the side and do not drain, then add approximately 1/3 c. flour to make a roux. Cook out the flour and slowly add milk until you reach desired gravy consistency, Add tabasco, Worcestershire and maple syrup. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve over your favorite biscuits.
